LK10 and Halion 10 pwned!

Once again I turn my back for a day and everything goes right.....I am starting to get a complex. Can't say too much on this one as I wasn't there but it sounds like we had an imba team as after a few attempts on the Lich King the mighty ruler of Icecrown felt the wrath of the CH crew and fell to his knees.

Buoyed by their success the team went onto RS10 and it sounds like a halcyon Halion as he went down the same vening!

Well done guys lets keep up the pressure as we drive forward to Cataclysm.

One Is Not Amused

I wasn't there for this one and I am slacking, the photo is on my other pc and I don't have access to it. So two reasons that this update is shoddy, however we did down the blood queen and it was about 3 weeks ago.......other than that I can't add much other than thoroughly well done everyone who was there :)

Edit: now with a much better picture supplied by our lovely Purefaith....

REGICIDE!!!!!!!!!!!

I shot myself in the foot with this one really. Having explained the mechanics to the fight and on our first ever go I jokingly posted to the raid "-1000 dkp from everyone if we don't one shot it"...way to make yourself look stupid........I'm not going to make jokes about this boss, one shotting Blood Princes on your first ever attempt really does show how far we have come in the last couple of weeks. Everyone performed brilliantly and I really can't sing all of your praises enough, just a brilliant achievement guys well done!

Dreamweaver Put To Sleep

So bit of a good week this week all said and done. 2 new bosses pwned, and more importantly both one shotted. First to feel the Cry Havoc wrath was......hang on no we weren't killing her were we? First to feel the Cry Havoc love was Dreamwalker. As the healers pilled on the affection the dps and tanks, sickened (come on I wear plate I don't do lovey), beat the hell out of the adds. Just as we were getting into our stride she went down...marvelous 1 down......

Rotface Facepalmed

I slacked again....no other way to say it I have had the following pic on my harddisk for the last week...sigh....Anyway having downed their far more attractive sibling recently we thought we'd give Amy Wine....sorry Rotface a go with only half an hour of raid time left and on only our second week visiting him. 10 o'clock soon rolled around and we gave it the famous Cry Havoc "one last try" and once again it paid off......

Festergut Downed

I'm going to have to admit to being very slack on this one as we actually downed Monsieur Fester over 2 weeks ago on the 16th. I thought I had uploaded this and never thought to check.....hey ho. Anyway yes that makes us 5/12 on 25 man. 10 man we are currently running at 11/12 having downed Sindragosa last week and Putricide this week. Hopes are high that our first encounters with the Lich King will prove successful so watch this space!

Deathbringer Saurfang

Full of the joys of victory and having given our narcoleptic healer, Nickolaij, a shot of coffee that Keith Richards would have found a little OTT we went on to what we knew would be a challenge on our first attempt, the mighty Saurfang. Immediately our over ebullient off tank (did you read that Cadogan OFF tank....) sprang into action coralling the disparate mass into a lean, mean fighting machine and with a single attempt we left the champion of the Rise cowering in embarrassment.

And with that we left the Citadel for the evening 3 new bosses attempted, 3 taken down and all 3 one shotted, it doesn't get better than that! Many thanks to those that came along to help us this evening it was an honour and a privilege to serve with you!

Cry Havoc 3 ICC 0

Gunship Battle

And on to the next boss of the evening, well when we say boss we mean ship and by ship we mean boat. And for once we didn't need a bigger one, coming in as we did with the second new boss of the evening and the second one shot. We were on a roll and having scraped Shamille off the ceiling we were on to the next.

Cry Havoc 2 ICC 0

Deathwhisper Pwned

Well after a rather disappointing week last week in terms of sign ups for 25 mans Shamytan worked like a man possessed to ensure that we actually got into ICC again this week, and boy are we glad we did with three new bosses one shotted!. First to feel our wrath was Lady Deathwhisper, and it really was a whisper she went down with.

Cry Havoc 1 ICC 0

Marrowgar

Well after an extended break from 25 mans Cry Havoc returned to the Icecrown Citadel determined to see what all the fuss was about. Unfortunately Naturespirit threw his toys out of the pram and stamped his feet like a 2 year old until we agreed to take him along for old times sake, but we think the other healers made up for him. Many thanks go to British Raven Guard who provided the additional bodies needed, and boy did we need them, here's to many more of the same guys!

Anub'Arak

After each fight in the Argent Coliseum proving to be a bit of a push over, hopes where high that the last boss may not be that way. Our 1st try of the night seen us survive until he got a little enraged, something we had forgot about in our strategy.
With a few minor changes to dps targets (1 or 2) our 2nd try was a little more tense, with us getting the boss down to 0.7% and then enraging, healing himself while we tried to get him down and while he happily killed us all with his locusts, nice.
The try put a new meaning to the infamous 1% wipe, with the locusts killing the entire raid and the DoTs remaining slowly killing the boss until he could'nt take any more.

From what has been seen so far heroic version is a lot harder and will be a lot more fun to try and clear. Good job all! :)

Twins

Another week another boss, well twins. This time we got lucky and by the time come to go and kill them they had (For once) been buffed making them a tougher boss. The buff however still wasnt enough as they where burned down on the 3rd attempt of the night. Next week sees the final boss Anub'arak join the funhouse and if he don't prove a challenge the Hard modes after that might just :) lets hope so.

Faction Champions

A new week a new fight and hope for a harder boss.
This week the faction champions effectivly a 10v25 arena match and a nice addition seeing as the end of the arena season is next reset. The fight was definatly a little harder then the 2 bosses before it with the server instantly counterspelling heals when out of cc and mobs all 'ganking' the poor priest cowering in the corner.
However the fight was still done in good time as we now await the twins comming next week, eager to see if this will be the 1st challange of the new raid as is suspected.

Lord Jaraxxus

Well we was hoping for a harder boss this week than the Northrand beasts last week to keep us entertained for a little while. Lord Jaraxxus looked like a challange however the hardest thing was trying to hear anyone over vent with a bugged DBM screaming at us to move every tenth of a seccond. He was one shotted anyway and we spent the rest of the night getting some conquest badges in naxxramas. Good job all, heres hoping faction champions will be a treat.

Northrend Beasts

With the new raid comes new bosses. Well 1 new encounter per week anyway. We entered the newly constructed arena expecting a twist to the fight somewhere along the way after information on the fight portrayed it as been 'easy for a tier 9 encounter. A few trys later all 3 (4 if u count the worms) bosses where down and the 'free loot' was ours' GJ all, hopefully the next encounter be a little more, challenging.

Yogg 25

A long time comming, yogg 25 man has been slain. After a few weeks of members taking holidays the correct group setup was obtained and the raid entered last week with a new level of determination. Tuesday evening seen stunning progress with a lot of attempts of around 10-15% with one of the last trys of the evening reaching 3% before people had to go for the evening. This week we come back and finished tying the knot before hitting the new tier 9 content. Good job all and lets keep going into tier 9 :)

Yogg 10 Down

Now where the 10 man kills aint normally mentioned, the group has taken a small break from their hard mode boss addiction and decided to get yogg down this week. After just 1 and a half nights on the end boss, phase 3 seemed like a nice and steady nuke.
Big gratz to all on the 10 man clear, and the substitues for the 10 man team, Also well done on the achievement Drive me crazy and I say from all the 10 man group a big thank you to Mithas for all his hard work! and his late night dedication to his 10 man team.
The group will now continue on the hard modes and hopefully will be on Algalon in a few weeks time, while in the evenings the 25man group will hopefully get a Yogg kill in the next few weeks. Good job all.

General Vezex

Our Descent into madness continues, with the general falling less then 2days after mimiron's defeat. Very interesting fight if you have a mana bar and are a bit trigger happy with your spells :) a few close trys ending in less then 3% health had some members going insain before they had even seen Yogg-Saron! but now the real fight starts we had only limited time yesterday due to the reset today but already some progress has been made and no longer are 50,000 adds been spawned within a matter of seconds and wiping the raid. But now the real fights start and after yogg come the hard modes...

Mimiron

Tonight mimiron has fallen and all 4 keepers of ulduar have been defeated. With our 1st ever full night on mimiron 25 hopes where running high for a kill, last week seen some very good progress also with 1 or 2 exceptional attempts. Our very 1st try seen us get both the body and base down with the head dying less then 2 secconds too late allowing the body to self repair. Our 2nd try expectations was high and thanks to some expert raid leading from mithas, the head, body and base died within 5 seconds of each other! Big congrats to all as now the Descent Into Madness, begins.

Hodir

Hodir our 3rd keeper of ulduar has been iced. After 2 nights on the fight a last change of tactic seemed to fill in the missing gap and ice giant was downed swiftly with time to spare on the enrage, with the added bonus of the achievement Heroic: I have the coolest friends.
Now our last keeper Mimiron, a boss already with a reputation, is already at risk with our 1st full night seeing Phases 1 and 3 mastered with no deaths and occasional perfect attempts up to phase 4, where we have already got him to 10%Head 27%body 14%base. Good job all and keep up the good work as we now stand 10/14 on 25man and 12/14 on 10 man.
Also Happy Birthday to our resto shammy Myrad :)

Thorim

Another keeper hits the dust, with freya falling last week and this week Thorim bringing the keepers to 2/4 and the instance as a whole to 9/14.
Another good week in Ulduar with more sill to come this week, with some very good close attempts on Hodir the next on the hitlist.
Good job all and keep up the good work :)
